Protect Systems GmbH becomes the exclusive distributor of RAPGARD surface protection films for non-OEM customers in Europe.
2013
Planning begins for the establishment of SOMOTEC GmbH as a dedicated production subsidiary.
2016
Launch of the PROFINA(TM) brand - including the first approvals from major automotive OEMs.
2018
SOMOTEC expands its production capacity and strengthens its research and development activities at the Rostock site.
2020
Product portfolio extended to include EPDM surface protection and technical adhesive tapes.
